DAN Oxygen Provider
This class trains and educates students in entry-level techniques
for using oxygen in the first aid management of suspected dive
accidents. It introduces novice divers to the fundamentals of dive
accident recognition, response, and management.
Class topics include signs and symptoms of a dive emergency
requiring oxygen first aid, benefits of providing oxygen to an
injured diver, potential hazards of working with oxygen, assembly
and deployment of the DAN oxygen unit, and use of each mask option
for breathing and non-breathing divers.
When
The DAN Oxygen Provider class meets from 7-10pm on one weekday
evening.
