Search & Recovery Diving
You never know when an object will be lost in the water – and it’s a good idea to be prepared. The list of underwater "lost and found" is endless: dive lights, dive knives, tools, anchors, boat motors, bicycles, weight belts and – the dream of all divers – boats and ships.

Completion of this specialty will prepare you toplan and execute your own search and recovery operation.

When
The Search & Recovery Class meets for a classroom and pool session on two weekday evenings and makes two ocean dives the following weekend.

Cost
$119.99. The cost includes classroom and pool sessions, student book package and ocean dives. Boat charter fees, if any, are not included.

Prerequisites
Basic Open Water certification

Required Materials & Gear
Search & Recovery Manual
Underwater slate/pencil
Dive compass
ALL scuba gear required for open water scuba diving and two tanks

Rental scuba gear is available at Captain Aqua's.
